Custom AV Solution for the World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Creating a bold AV strategy for both live and broadcast audiences

The event organizers of the World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony contacted our audio-visual expert team to help them create a bold and memorable live event for golf enthusiasts around the country. Their event needed a custom AV strategy that mixed traditional AV design with modern AV technology.  The event took place at the iconic Sunset Theater in Carmel, CA, minutes away from our office and av equipment warehouse in San Francisco, CA.

The 2019 World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is an annual event that brings together hundreds of golf professionals, media, partners, high profile golf enthusiasts, and speakers to honor new inductees into the prestigious hall of fame club. The event is held in conjunction with the annual USA Open Championship Golf Tournament held in Pebble Beach, California. The event is invite-only to a select group of attendees but broadcast nationwide to provide access to the entire golf community.

Our team was charged with creating a dramatic stage set that showcased the gothic-inspired architecture and state-of-the-art acoustics of the Sunset Theater and would broadcast well both visually and acoustically. Shepard AV provided a bold stage design, comprehensive floorplans, lighting design, live stream capabilities, project management, traditional & state-of-the-art AV equipment, rigging, labor management, and end-to-end production and execution. The event was designed and executed flawlessly, providing a memorable and meaningful experience to golf enthusiasts nationwide.
